Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms“) carefully before using jeromistore.com/ (the “Website“) operated by Jeromi Store Private Limited (“Jeromi Store“, “we“, “us“, “our“). By accessing the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms constitute an “electronic record” under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and are published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. Eligibility

To purchase from us you must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By placing an order you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account

You may browse without registering, but to place an order you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate and current information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password.
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Products & pricing

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
  • We make every effort to display product colours, dimensions and finish accurately, but slight variations may occur as our products are hand-crafted. Such variation is part of the artisanship and not a defect.
  • Weight is approximate and may vary by ±5% on brass items.
  • Prices, offers and product availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price.

4. Order acceptance

Placing an order constitutes your offer to purchase. The order is accepted only when we send a confirmation email/SMS and dispatch the product. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: stock unavailability, suspected fraud, restricted shipping address, or pricing errors. If your card has been charged for a cancelled order, the amount will be refunded within 5–7 working days.

5. Payment

We accept payment via credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets and select EMI options through RBI-authorised payment gateways (Razorpay/PayU/Cashfree). Cash-on-Delivery (COD) is available across most pin codes for orders up to ₹15,000.

You agree to provide accurate billing details. You confirm that the payment instrument you use belongs to you or you are authorised to use it.

8. Energisation & ritual claims

References to “energised”, “consecrated”, “blessed” or similar terms describe the spiritual preparation performed by our temple priests using traditional Hindu rituals. These are devotional in nature. We make no claim of medical, financial or other material outcomes from the use of our products, and we do not represent that any product cures, treats or prevents any disease. Please consult a qualified professional for medical, legal or financial matters.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — text, images, logos, photography, illustrations, software and design — is the property of Jeromi Store Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, sell or modify any content without our prior written permission.

10. Prohibited use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Upload viruses, malware or any malicious code.
  • Engage in scraping, data-mining, framing or unauthorised crawling.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Resell our products without written authorisation.
  • Post defamatory, obscene, threatening, hateful or otherwise objectionable content.
  • Violate any applicable law of India, including the IT Act, 2000.

11. User reviews

If you submit reviews or comments, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display them. You confirm that the content is your own, truthful and does not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to moderate or remove reviews.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Website and products are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, except those that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Website or your purchase shall not exceed the value of the order in question. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jeromi Store, its directors, employees and agents against any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or your infringement of any third-party right.

15. Force majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government action, war, riots, strikes, courier failures or internet outages.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us or third parties.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

18. Online Dispute Resolution

In line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the E-Commerce Rules, 2020, you may also reach out to the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or file a complaint on consumerhelpline.gov.in or the e-Daakhil portal.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on the Website. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
